At Celebration Foursquare Church, we believe that we are called to love people from the overflow of the love God has poured into us, and based on the value He has placed on our lives as Creator and Savior.
John 3:16—For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
We make intentional effort to ensure that every man, woman, and child representing diverse ethnic backgrounds in the richness of God’s design, has a place at the table. All people bear God’s image and likeness with equal status, and are to be treated as equals in society and especially in the Church.
Galatians 3:26-29 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Ephesians 4:14-16 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and
blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to stand up for the oppressed, act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. (Micah 6:8)
We will rejoice with those who rejoice, and mourn with those who mourn, living in harmony with each other (Romans 12:15)
For these reasons we firmly stand against any and every form of racism. Racism is a despicable evil rooted in demonic agenda, used to degrade and devalue humanity—God’s image-bearers, and His prized possession. It has no place in the body of Christ.
Holy Spirit! We cry out to You! Thank You Father for making us in Your image. As image-bearers of You, we desire to love people as You have loved us. We lament that sin and strongholds have infested our world ever since the Garden of Eden. We humbly ask that you forgive, and turn to heal our land.
Holy Spirit, thank You for showing us how to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry. Show us how to speak the truth in love. Show us how to represent You to a hurting and broken world with compassion. We are so thankful for Your presence. We love You. Thank You for reconciling us to You and to each other and for forgiving our sins.

CFC- Stand on the ROCK!
As we continue to navigate this season we are in, we can be confident that God will be with us through and through. I find strength in knowing that no matter what the future holds, God is able to be a firm foundation for us to stand on.
Luke 6:46-49—46 “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49 But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”
The house that was built without a foundation was swept away with great loss, but the house that stood on a rock was not shaken. Just as Jesus described two different people, and the way they built their houses, we each have that same choice. This pandemic and everything that surrounds it feels like a giant storm, hitting each person in a different way...finances, physical health, mental health, and everything in between. We need to stand on the ROCK.
What does it look like to stand on the ROCK?
Lean into Christ! Having a relationship with Jesus is the first step. Just as you build relationship with a person by spending time with them, spending time with Jesus is so important. Read the Bible. Worship. Memorize Scripture. Prayer.
None of us can do this alone! Even in the midst of social distancing WE NEED EACH OTHER! Call, email, message, video chat someone to see how they are doing, and share how you are doing.
If you are in need of physical/emotional/spiritual support, please contact us at email@example.com.
Let’s remember what the most important things are: loving God and loving each other.
We are in this together!

March 16 -- CFC Update
Greetings to you Kingdom People! This is such a pivotal time to bring peace with us everywhere we go, and to everyone we talk with. Many are panicking, angry, frustrated, questioning, etc. In whatever state you find your heart, I'm encouraging you to fix your eyes upon Jesus! He will carry you, your family, your coworkers, your neighbors through anything you face.
There are so many opportunities to bring peace:
- Jeff and I walked around our neighborhood, knocking on doors, asking if they needed any food/TP/supplies, and how they are doing in the midst of all of this. We wanted them to know that neighbors stick together and that we are here if they need anything.
- When I went to the grocery store, I brought quarter sheets with scriptures, a prayer and our church website. I asked people if they are doing ok, handed them the sheet and told them I am praying they have peace during this time. The people I spoke with were so thankful and said it was just what they needed. If you are trying to stay at home, continue to keep the people around you in prayer.
As we move forward with Sunday morning Home Groups (see details below), I would like to challenge you to join a group. We will be worshipping together and digging into God's Word. Stay in touch and let someone know if you have a need. If you have health concerns, please stay home, but staying connected as a community is vital right now, whether in person or by phone.
John 15:9--9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! 12 This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
One day we will look back on this moment. I want to be counted among those who were confident in God as Healer, Provider, Prince of Peace and Comforter.
I love each of you and pray you stand firm and enjoy the peace of God!

Dear CFC Family,
While navigating this unexpected global crisis, we are confident that God is on His throne. As the church we will stand firm, offering hope and encouragement to those around us.
Deuteronomy 31:8 “He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We are committed to staying connected and communicating as we move forward. At this point we will plan on meeting at CFC this coming Sunday, March 15 and will be closely monitoring the situation week to week, keeping you updated.
We need to inform you that we have a couple of members who were unknowingly exposed to someone outside of our church, that has tested positive for COVID-19. This does not mean that our members have the virus; they have not shown signs or any symptoms, but they were in the service this past Sunday, not knowing at that time they had been exposed. They will self-quarantine for the recommended time frame. We will let you know if anything changes.
Please take pro-active steps in taking care of yourself. We have several resources below for information and preventive steps you can take. We will continue to love each other, but will refrain from hugs and handshakes as much as possible during this time.
And please remember that if you have flu like symptoms, out of respect for others, remain home until you are better and seek medical attention if needed.
- Finally, and most importantly, WE PRAY.
- We pray for those who have experienced loss due to COVID-19.
- We pray that the mighty hand of God will intervene and this virus will be stopped, in Jesus’ name.
- We pray that the church will rise up and be a light during this uncertain and dark time.
- WE BELIVE for health and God’s best I our lives.
